Excellent reference for Maternal Fetal Medicine

This is a very thorough and easy to follow text. I have already used it a dozen times since purchasing it a few weeks ago. It is evidence based with up to date references. It covers topics that are not covered as thoroughly in other books. I highly recommend it for general obstetrics and maternal fetal medicine.

a disjointed Jessica Jones greatest hits album that cashes in on the Netflix series...go read the original issues

If you have read Bendis's Avengers, then you already have read these stories. During the pre-order phase, neither Marvel nor Amazon stated that this was a collection of OLD stories repackaged to capitalize on Netflix's fantastic tv series starring this drunken and financially strapped wash-up super hero turned private eye (spoiler: her life eventually improves).

The stories are very good - Brian Michael Bendis created Jessica Jones and turned her into a very compelling character that was quite well rounded. He supplied her with some of the most wonderful dialogue that Marvel offered up in the 00s (particularly in her scenes with Luke Cage...it's probably the best written romantic relationship in Marvel). This collection is disjointed though - it puts together a series of disparate stories.

If you like Jessica Jones, go read all three trades of Alias, every issue of the Pulse and Bendis's entire New Avengers run. You'll be pleased.

Big Jessica Jones fan from Alias and The Pulse.

This throws in her appearances from the various Avengers books that she and Luke Cage made appearances in.

Personally my favorite has to do with her having a crush on teenaged Peter Parker when they were in high school and him not having a clue. It leads to some entertaining interactions between Spider-Man and Jessica Jones, and in other books Spider-Man and Luke Cage.

Love this guide & scripture references throughout the book!

I just got this in the mail yesterday as I am praying about visiting Israel next year. Since I love learning about places before I visit, I thought this would be a good book to invest in and for $8, I thought it was worth ordering! So far I've only flipped through it and read a few pages, but I already l love it! The pages divide up the different cities and attractions. I love that the author talks about a place and uses scripture to reference about what happened there during Bible times and Jesus' life. It is a tiny bit heavier than I expected, but I think that's because the book is so full of information and pictures. There are 8 maps in the back that depict life during Bible times pointing out Biblical and historical moments. I recommend the book! I can't wait to read more and take it with me to Israel!

I was surprised to find my personality there and that is very cool because it all makes sense

I am not a person who is reading personality horoscopes in bulk, predictions, match making and etc. Though I have read “Secret of the Serpent Bloodline” and I decided to buy this book too, just out of curiosity. There is a lot of sense in it. I was surprised to find my personality there and that is very cool because it all makes sense, actually you can see why you have problems with other people and get along well with the others (it is very clear how to alter the situation), or why you like or dislike different food. You have done it again Tau Tia! Thank you.

You can find your personality by your blood type but also others personalities. As I know most of my friend's and family blood type now it is easy not only to understand their personalities but also to predict their attitude. It is amazing and useful. I was surprised by just how accurate the book is, I mainly only bought it because I enjoyed Tau Tia's other book so much and now I am glad I got it. A very good investment.

Good choice!

I am a pediatric nurse, RN working in a busy outpatient department. I am also a Pediatric instructor at City College of San Francisco. I found this book to be a great and quick reference. The book is divided into sections by systems which I find to be helpful. The pictures are great and they have boxes that will highlight key points and pediatric pearls; which highlight key physical findings and techniques to improve pediatric exams. I like that the book is spiral bound. It makes it easy to read as it lies flat on a table or you could fold it back. I've used the photo's to show a new mother the anatomy of the skull of the newborn. She had questions about her baby's fontanels. I would highly recommend this book! DMG RN MSN IBCLC

The best pediatric physical exam textbook you will find

I am in my second year of a MSN-FNP program ready to begin my pediatric clinicals. After reading these reviews I knew I needed to purchase this book; I am very happy that I did. This is far and away the BEST book you will find on pediatric physical examinations out there. It is so thorough!

It is full of color photographs and drawings showing procedural steps and physical images in detail (very helpful so you may be more comfortable with a procedure or anomaly before you are approached with one in front of your preceptor).

Things like normal variations and abnormal findings are all given in tables so they are easy to find. Charting tips are offered for every section. I especially like how well the musculoskeletal and neurological sections are covered as these assessments have many specific examinations (each are offered, again with pictures). For example, the examination of the newborn hip is shown with pictures - observing for Ortolani's sign, Barlow's test, and symmetry (all shown with detailed pictures). Each body section is really covered well, it is difficult to pick out one or two. I suggest you click on the "look inside" to skip around the book for a few moments before you purchase it. I'm sure you will find it covers every area in detail. Just peek at the pictures in the skin section.

I just cannot get over how fantastic this book is. The size is perfect, you can carry it with you to clinicals (not too heavy and not too big) 6" x 9" and about 1" thick and spiral bound so it stays open to where you want it. It also has the fold over tab on the back cover so it has the built-in bookmark (a bonus!).

I highly recommend this to anyone who works with pediatric patients. Truly a fabulous find. I don't know why my school doesn't require this book. It is far better than the textbooks they do require.
